Doctrinal Statement

 

1.We believe that once a person has been born of God's Spirit

     they have been placed in to God's Eternal Spirit Family and nothing that, they can do can ever remove

     them out of this relationship? In other words it is purely by grace through faith and nothing that we can do will ever take us

     out or bring us merit to keep us in, His Eternal Family. We go in by grace (through faith) and we are kept by grace, as a result

   we can never lose what was given to us by God, because in effect we can never undo our Spiritual birt

2. We believe that Charismatic movement is dangerous ground, in other words it is not correct according to the word of God.

3. We believe that, "speaking in tongues" is a spiritual gift that, is not for today, but was used by God as a "sign” gift to the Jews,

    (at Pentecost and for up to around 70 years after His death) to confirm the coming of God in the flesh and His resulting blood

    sacrifice for our sin on the cross and that speaking in an unknown tongue today is not the gift of tongues as evidenced inActs        and Corinthians.

4. We believe that, the Gift of Healing is also not for today, but was also another of the Sign Gifts in NT times? (However people

     can still be supernaturally healed today through the "Prayer of Faith" as taught in James Chapter 5: 14-15).

5. We believe that good sacred music is correct to subscribe in God’s service.

6. We believe that, so called "Rock Music" belongs to the Devil, the Nightclub and the Jungle and as a result, is totally     inappropriate

and sinful for God's people to use in their services and listen to, for their personal enjoyment.

 7. Scripturally and doctrinally the Independent Baptist is indicating that this was established on the true word of God, so it is

   indicating the inspire word of God. That is because only Baptist doctrines are true and are belonging to God and His eternal way.

8. That the Holy Scripture of the old and New Testament are the verbally, inspired word of God and are the final authority for

 faith, life and conduct; that they were given without error and preserved without error in the 1611 Authorized Version for the

 people of this world.
